profile picture.About me, professionally?

I like challenges, so while I was studying to become a Certified Medical Coding Specialist during the day, I was also studying online to become a Computer Graphic Artist. My husband and I started a vinyl sign/design business originally just to letter our own race cars, but this grew and eventually kept us busy in the summer time as we started lettering a number of other race cars besides our own. Soon we were putting vinyl graphics on vehicles, banners, political signs, windows, etc. in our spare time.

After 10 years in medical coding, I headed into the accounting field, wishing to try something new. Not only was this enough of a challenge, I decided to go back to college for accounting. I stayed in that field for a short 2 years, and then the economy crashed in 2009. Work dwindled and I was eventually "promoted" to being a full time student (vs having a full time job). Little did I know at the time, but this would turn out to be a very good thing for me.

I dove into school as hard as I could; designing websites, taking photography jobs, utilizing Adobe products to their fullest extent. I take every assignment and job I receive as far into the design world as I can. Perfectionism in my work, and a slight case of that design-disease abbreviated as OCDS (obsessive compulsive designer-syndrome) keeps me working hard and learning new things on a daily basis.

I love the photography portion of my career and have just opened up a new studio in Great Falls up near the mall! What more could I ask for at this point! It gives me such personal satisfaction when someone calls me to take photos of them, their children, or their special events. I treat each session as if it were my own and love capturing those special moments on camera. I take photos of as many different subjects as I can, including sports, infants, weddings, children, high school seniors, family, and of course pets! Keeping photography interesting, fresh, and new is what I strive for in my work.

About Me, personally?

Well, your guess is as good as mine... I still haven't grown up yet, nor have I figured out what I want to be when I do decide to grow up. Maybe someday I'll settle into life and we can be a normal family... but then again, probably not. Right now I just fly by the seat of my pants, and get as much out of a day as I can manage. There's way too much to get through in life to snooze through it all at this point. race car profile pic.

Our little family learned at a very young age how short life can be, so I live by my own set of rules. Live it up and accomplish as much as you can in the short time you are here! Keep in touch with friends (old and new), it'll always pay you back in return. Stay true to the ones that love you the most, and always aim high! Don't stay the mouse in the corner, get out and meet others. You never know when someone you meet today will be someone you could rely on tomorrow. Be nice to new people you meet, be kind to those you know are good, but stomp on the ones that do wrong to the innocent! Karma is a funny thing...

Take care of your pets, they will love you unconditionally no matter what you have or how you look. And above all else, be true to yourself and what you believe in. That's what matters the most and signature image.that's what keeps you able to sleep at night!
